Extra Bonuses for taking NPC shifts
While it is part of our culture that everyone pitches in the help set up, tear down, and fill in when needed to make things work, we have some extra bonuses for folks NPCing at the upcoming event. Extra treasure or CP credit with other LARPs instead of NERO, bonus draws for prizes, etc.

Registering as an PC
- Join NERO International and create a character (see New Player tab above for detailed instructions) if you have not already done so.
- Go to www.nerolarponline.com and register for the game.
- Fill out our questionnaire here that tells us what we need to know to arrange housing, food, and insurance paperwork and how to contact you when not on site.
- Pay for the game here. You can register and tell us you will be paying at the door but the rates are lower if you preregister and you get bonuses for prepaying as well because both steps help us make the game better, buy supplies for our chef to use, speed up your check-in and check-out, and it gives the chapter more treasure to distribute at the event.

New Players
Just like above except:
- No need to pay, this one is on us.
- We will give you a package of starting tags to help you get up to speed.
- Fill out the Accident Waiver and bring it to Check-In at the event.

Returning Players
- If you previous played in a Chapter than became Alliance in the great NERO/Alliance split we will help you work with Joe Valenti to make sure you get set up properly.
- If you previous played in a NERO chapter which kept its characters in the old database we will help you work with NERO Customer Service to get your character updated and loaded into the new National Database.
- If you previous played in a NERO chapter which kept its characters separately we will help you work with that chapter's staff and NERO Customer Service to get your character updated and loaded into the new National Database.
- When you come back we will give you a package of starting tags to help you get up to speed.
- Your first event back as a player character is free.
If you are a minor make sure an adult legally responsible for you properly fills out the waiver section for you and comes along. If the normal legal adult can not come with you they can appoint someone else as a temporary guardian to come with you. In that case make sure that both the responsible adults have filed out the appropriate temporary guardianship form. We can not let you play without it due to both insurance and camp rules.
